Located in between Schmitz Park and a spacious golf course, West Seattle is home to a few well-known faces: the lead singer of Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder, actress Dylan Cannon, nature photographer Art Wolfe, as well as Amanda Knox. There are over 20 different neighborhoods in the West Seattle area and they are populated by more than 55,800 people. The said heart of the town is the intersection of California Avenue S.W. and S.W.
