Sedro Woolley is located in Skagit County and 40 miles south of Canada and 65 miles north of Seattle. This small city was formed in 1898 from two rival towns called Sedro and Woolley. Sedro Woolley is home to the annual Loggerodeo which has been a 4th of July celebration since the mid 1930s. This town is just north of the Skagit River and has access to Highway 9 and just minutes from the I-5 freeway.
